What is Permanent Makeup ?|
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique using tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis)
to producing designs that resemble makeup.
It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have
lost them as a consequence of old age, disease,
such as alopecia totalis, chemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance,
and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo.
Does it hurt?
The treatment is very similar to being tattooed.
The technician can apply topical anesthetic to numb the skin prior to treatment (if required).
How long does a treatment take?
Your technician will advise you how long your visit will be.
First the technician will work on the design and colors, getting the client's input before starting the procedure.
Is it like a tattoo?
Yes. It is a cosmetic technique similar to tattooing where pigment is placed under the surface of the skin.
Permanent makeup uses a different type of pigment than with tattooing.
How much does it cost?
Eyeliner (upper & lower) $450
